Lots of challenge cards to share -part 1
Elzybells challenge
So come play with us! Do the challenge and email your picture to Elizabeth! You can see more wonderful black and white creations from my fellow Elzybelles HERE. My card uses the flower image Curly Daisies. Love the whimsical feel to this stamp!! I colored them with my blender pen and ink smooshed in the ink pad lid and then dragged each edge in the ink pad for a sharper edge (rather than a sponge). There are tiny light green bling in the centers of each (ok, I MAY have streeeetttched the rules a titch!) which are from Kaiser Scrapbook. I get mine at my local LSS, but Flourishes carries some as well. I love these gems! They come with several sizes to each pack, so you have options. The DP is from my friend Lee (LuvLee) I don't know what it is, but it's really nice. Has a nice texture to it. The striped organdy ribbon and black burlap string are from Pinkhedgehog Paper crafts!
I will back shortly with a slew of challenge cards I have made through out the week!!
P.S. Do you like the new look of my blog? I had Beth from Freckled and Fun design my banner and new siggy!! Yippeeee!!!

Season's Tweetings
This Elzy image is just the cutest!! The stamp is A Winter Song and makes me smile everytime I see her!! I used my prismacolor pencils to color her, some liquid applique on her coat trim and stickles on the snow. The GORGEOUS DP is Basic Grey Wassail - oh, I love this as much as last year's Figgy Pudding. I ran the top portion thru the snowflake embossing folder. I really love this folder and just may have to use it on all my Christmas cards! The 3 snowflakes are from my mini snowflake punch from Marvy and the dew drops are from the Lily Pad bottle.

A couple of double challenge cards
This second card is also a double challenge card. It uses the horizonal version of the sketch and this week's Crafty Secrets challenge to use orange and black. I used Crafty Secrets set Bird Lovers and the sentiment is from their set Rosy Wishes. I colored the birdies with copic markers and them painted them with Shimmerz, Angel Wings. I chose for my oranges, tangerine tango and groovy guava. The new DSP SU has is awesome! I like the prints much better than last years.
Accessories - brown brads, wide organdy
Stamps - bird lovers, rosy wishes
Paper - white, black, tangering tango, guava, DSP in tangerine
Accessories - copic markers, paper piercer, shimmerz, swiss dots, guava taffeta ribbon, word window punch

A couple of thank you cards
This first card is made with Crafty Secrets Rosy Wishes (one of their medium sized sets). I love roses and until now, I had NO stamps with roses on them -gasp! For those of you who have never ordered from Crafty Secrets, they have clear stamps of the same quality as Flourishes. Very nice! I used some of my Vintage Sarapapers from HOTP and painted the roses and the little bee with Shimmerz in Angel Wings. Ohhhh, I have found a new shimmery love and it's SHIMMERZ! Heidi now sells them at her store, Pinkhedgehog Papercrafts (I don't think they are listed right now, you can email her about them). All the images are colored with Copic markers.
This next card uses my JustRite Stampers Harmony Classic Circle stamper II. It comes with six sentiments and borders to mix and match! Fun fun! The DP is Everyday Tango from MME. I love the bright chunky colors in this paper pack. The ribbon and brads are from Pinkhedgehog Papercrafts.
Don't forget, if you are intersted in purchasing Copic markers at a pre-sale discount, check out Heidi's store home page for details!
Card deets:Stamps - Rosy Wishes
Paper - celery, white, shimmer purple, Vintage Sarapapers by HOTP
Accessories - Shimmerz in Angel Wing, striped organdy, paper piercer
Stamps - Harmony Classic Circle II
Paper - Tangerine, white, Everyday Tango
Accessories - white and hot pink brads, satin ribbon, copics

A trio of Christmas elegance
Each card uses the cuttlebug Snowflake folder, has glitter/stickles and some light framing. The images were colored with copic markers. The reindeer has some gold in his collar, if anyone has tips on what to use that comes out gold but slightly transparent, I would love to hear them. I used my gold Uniball pen, but it came out very opaque and you can't see the lovely detailing in the collar. All the ribbon, cord, stickles and brads are from Pinkhedgehog Papercrafts.

The Dirty Dozen Fan Club Gallery reveal and our 2 new Dirty Girls!!
Give a big welcome to Lisa Zappa (Lzappa) and Jessie Rone (knightrone)!!! Oh, these ladies are a perfect addition to the Dirty Dozen. Well each month, 2 come in and 2 come out. This month is the last month for me and Joan (Joan Ervin). We had a super time and hope we honored you all with our creations!!
The theme this month is a fun one, from the SCS welcome page, "the Dirty Dozen went through their playlists and stacks of stamps and created For a Song, a gallery full of cards and projects inspired by music from rockin' AC/DC (that was mine!!) to gentle Brahms lullabies. No matter your taste in tunes, you're sure to find something you like." You have to be a Fan Club member to access the gallery. You can find more info here.
Stop on by and give the new Girls some love and be amazed at all the fun projects we did you you all!!

Featured Stamper Elzy style
I chose this card to case. I kept the general layout and use of an umbrelled girl. I changed the colors to this week's color challenge of Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate chip. I added some layering under the ribbon and didn't use a circle for the image panel.
The image is from Elzybells, Rainy Days . Isn't she the cutest? I pieced her umbrella and boots with DP that coordinated with the background DP -Tres Jolie Mon Cheri. The ribbon is from Martha Stewart seam binding in Persimmon. It's a perfect match to Tangerine Tango and was on sale for $1 -SCORE!
Card Deets:
Stamps – Rainy Days
Paper - choc chip, tangerine, kiwi, vanilla, Tres Jolie
Accessories - Copic markers, ribbon, corner rounder

Oregon/Washington SCS Shoebox swap!
Appropriately scheduled, I attended the OR/WA shoebox swap today. We meet every 6 months and alternate between a location in Oregon and Washington. Today's meeting was in Canby -just south of Portland. I went last year and had a great time. But this year, it was even better because I had a whole year to get to know these lovely ladies from SCS!
For those of you new to Shoebox swap (like me last year), everyone is asked to make a sample card and then cut and prepare the supplies for 10 identical cards placed in individual baggies. I COMPLETELY forgot to take a picture of my swap card, but I can tell you it uses the Diva-lish image from Unity Stamp's Diva-Lish set. Everyone sits at a table away from their own card and assembles others. I have been asked me what I do with my swap cards. Most of you have read that my cousin, Kyle is in the Army stationed overseas, I give all the cards to him to share with his unit.
I have some fun pictures to share!!
This first one is of me and Heidi (Pinkhedgehog), I know you ALL are familiar with her name as I talk about her all the time. She is a dear friend of mine, not only do I visit her almost every week, but get all my ribbons and brads from her store (Pinkhedgehog Papercrafts).
This next picture is of me and Kelly (Kelly H). We sat by each other at Table B. It was fun to chat with Kelly and discover she is on the same Design Team with 2 of my stamping friends, Joan (Joan Ervin) and Linsey (scrapperLinsey) for Clear Dollar Stamps! You go girl!!
This next picture is of me and Cindy (YLM). Cindy is such a sweet person!! Lots of you all got to meet her when she was a Featured Stamper on SCS Week 70. Somehow she finds the time to comment on EVERY card anyone submits to the Featured Stamper challenge each week! Hugs to you Cindy :-)
What a fun day! I could go on and on and even post a couple more pictures, but I am fighting off a head cold and am exhausted. I believe Debs (Doodah), who organized this shin-dig, will be posting all the pictures of the tables and swap cards in her gallery in a few days.
Thanks for stopping by!! See you tomorrow when I post the Featured Stamper card... This week it is Love Stampin!!!!!! I am new to her gallery, but love what I saw.

Elzybells sketch challenge
My card uses the uber cute Coffee With Friends image. So whimsical and fun to color! I used some of my Basic Grey DP scraps and tag (sorry, don't remember the name) and paired it with Cameo Coral and Gable Green. The Coral organdy is from Pinkhedgehog Papercrafts as is the small piece of irridescent cord.
The image is stamped in Memento black and I colored it with copic markers. For the green dress, I took a tiny flower stamp and stamped it on the dress for a pattern -super cute up close. I also added a touch of tiny bling in her hair and the flower on the table. The bling on the tag is from TAC. Be sure to check out the rest of the DTs cards -there are some super cute cards to see!!Oh, and before I forget, Elizabeth is still having her Christmas Card Contest. Details can be found here. There is plenty of time, entries need to be in by October 21st.
Card Deets:
Stamps – Coffee with Friends, sentiment Things Hanna Would Say -Hanna Stamps
Paper - cameo coral, very vanilla, gable green, misc Basic Grey DP and tag
Accessories - circle nesties, organdy, bling, paper piercer, Copic markers
